The campus changes the day.
The original guide was built around Mandalay Bay. Staying on campus meant an indoor route to the show; staying elsewhere meant making room for the ride. Neither choice was automatically better. The commute needed to be part of the decision.
Build slack into the week.
Group appointments by location. Leave time to get between them. A cancelled meeting can become a proper lunch, notes while the names are fresh, or simply a break. It does not have to become another cross-city trip.
Dinner gets its own plan.
The original guide separated on-campus group dining from a ride north or off the Strip. An evening reservation and a pickup time are two different things.
Sinatra
In the October guide, Kelley wrote that she had eaten here several times and would happily return.
For your brief: Check current tables, dress requirements and whether it fits the group.
Orla, STRIPSTEAK and Libertine Social
The guide used Mandalay Bay’s listed group-dining options to illustrate a night without another car journey.
For your brief: Confirm current group format, room details and availability with the venue.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas
The guide described a stay under evaluation, with the verdict still to come.
For your brief: The published guide did not award a verdict. Do not treat the evaluation stay as an endorsement.
Use the edition honestly.
Show hours, events, menus, fares and booking information belonged to that particular week. For a future IMEX trip, start again with the organizer’s current program and the group’s actual schedule.
ABOUT THIS EDITION
Adapted from the published October 10, 2026 guide. This is an editorial starting point, not a confirmed reservation or a new Seal endorsement. Current opening, room setup, minimums and availability need checking for your brief.
